You can do all of these exercises while social distancing. And let me tell yah, after sweating like Lisa for a week, I've got a new respect for the way she stays so damn fit. Naturally, that means I had to tackle a little yoga for the first workout of my series.
Let's get started. Her videos are suuuper calming, which I thought Rinna would appreciate since she uses yoga to chill TF out.
I chose to do Ardriene's 'Yoga for Vulnerability' class 'cause let's be real, Lisa gets vulnerable as hell when she let's the world view her entire life on reality TVrolled out my yoga mat, and got to work. Adriene le viewers through a bunch of grounding stretches like downward dog, deep lunges, and child's poseand my entire bod just felt super relaxed the whole time. I've been doing more running-based workouts since quarantine started and I've been extra stressed, hahso this video was perf for helping me let go of any tension I was feeling and for getting the lactic acid buildup out of my legs and arms.
Basically, the class was just what I needed and I think Lisa's yoga-loving self would approve. Following Lisa on Instagram is quite the treat.
She's been posting throwbacks of her old jazzercise videos called Dance Body Beautiful on her feed, and fans are loving every second of them. Lisa told Parade that she discovered jazzercise at age 16, and she eventually fell in love with Jane Fonda's workouts, too.
I literally searched 'jazzercise' on YouTube and clicked one of the first videos that popped up on my screen. I wish I had a wardrobe fit for replicating them. You're moving around, waving your hands and feet and doing little sprints for the entire workout. Lisa is all about taking Torch'd by celebrity trainer Isaac Calpito classes. I picked a random one from his feed and got to work. Calpito is a literal machine. He does not stop moving during the entirety of this Pilates -and-dance mixed workout. I like to think I'm pretty athletic, but I honestly could not keep up with his moves and had to take more breaks than I'd like to admit during the length of this vid.
My abs and arms were absolutely burning, and my boyfriend looked at me in pity as I collapsed on the floor and said "I don't have the energy for this" once I finished.

By the time I got to my final workout I was V tired. So I decided that busting out some TikTok dances like Lisa would be the perfect choice. That said, I had fun with it and I broke a sweat from all my jumping around.
Making up dances was also just a nice way to get out my jitters from sitting and staring at my laptop all day. So now that I'm an expert on all things working out like Lisa, I can definitely recommend copying her routine with full confidence. She just knows how to make exercise fun.
